Warranty Conditions:
At Vanders Glass you can buy with confidence. We offer quality mirrors at affordable prices. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. All Vanders Glass / Vanders Mirrors products come with a 12 month warranty.
This warranty will apply only under all of the following conditions:
• The item has been installed for and subjected to domestic residential use only.
• Failure is due to a fault in the manufacture of the product.
• Proof of purchase (including the date of purchase) is provided.
• The installation of the product has been by a installed by a professional and proof of installation such as receipts can be obtained.
The warranty will not apply in the case of:
• Unsuitable or improper use.
• Incorrect installation or installation not in accordance with the instructions provided.
• Normal wear and tear.
• Inadequate maintenance.
• Our warranties do not cover scratches to the glass surface made after purchase.
• Damage to external or product packaging only
• Damage occurring during your own handling and transportation of goods from a pick up location or once delivered.
• Insignificant minor variations in dimensions, colour, grain or finish.
• Insignificant minor imperfections or superficial blemishes.
• Dimensions are nominal measurements only, variance of less than 10% will not be covered under warranty or defect.
• Harsh detergents or abrasive cleaners used on product finishes
• Minor imperfection in glass that are typical of glass.
• Scratches, fractures, chips or surface blemishes on glazing and mirrors are defective if they exist upon receipt and can be seen from more than 3 metres distance with perpetual angle. Minor scratches, fractures, chips or other blemishes that are not more than 10 mm long and where there are not more than three blemishes per pane/item, are not defects. • Please inspect the item as per ‘AS/NZS 4667 – 2000 Quality Requirements‘ standards guide. Exclusions
• To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vanders Glass excludes all liability for damage or injury to any person, damage to any property, and any indirect consequential or other loss or damage.
• Our warranties do not cover scratches to the glass surface made after purchase.
Vanders Glass will not be responsible for the costs associated with replacing scratched products once purchased.
• Vanders Glass is not liable for glass breakage, damage, failure due to misuse; or to acts of nature including fire, flood or earthquake.
• The warranty does not cover damage caused through faulty design of your residence or business, careless handling, alteration, misuse, or misapplication.
• This warranty is limited by the cost of the purchased product and Vanders Glass will not assume any responsibility beyond the cost of original merchandise.
• Breakage caused by settling of the architectural structure in which the mirror is installed is not covered in the warranty.
Claim Procedure
For all warranty queries, customers are to contact Vanders Glass.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
